英語の基礎動詞と前置詞を如何にうまく使えるかです。

基礎動詞と前置詞の組合せだけでも多様な表現が可能です。

前置詞は、ほとんど中学校で学習したものばかりでしょう。

シンプルな前置詞でもその使い方を覚えることは大事です。

英語の前置詞はパワーワードです。

シンプルですが、意味を的確に決めてくれます。

理解しているようでアヤフヤな理解にならないように

しっかり前置詞の使い方を押さえておきましょう。

前置詞を押さえると英語の上達が早いです。

英語の動詞には相性の良いと言うのか

対、組合せになって使われる前置詞があります。

英語で動詞を使って話す時に

この動詞にはこの前置詞が使われると言うのを

対となる組合せで覚えておくと便利です。

自然にこの動詞を使ったらこの前置詞と

スムーズに口から出てくるように

ちょっと頑張って覚えてみましょう。

１．talk + to        She is talking to me.

2.    speak + to     You should speak to your boss.

３．listen + to      He is listening to the music.

４．belong + to      This car belongs to the company.

５．happen + to    What happened to your brother?

６．turn + to   Go straight and turn to right.

７．used + to      We used to play in this garden.

英単語を覚える時にはひとつの英単語だけを覚えるのでなく

良く組み合わせになる、対で使われる単語も一緒に

覚えるようにすると効率的です。

ひとつの英単語を覚えるよりも組合せで覚えるクセをつけて

英語の上達を効率的に向上させるようにしてください。

前置詞を使ったいろいろな決まり文句はそのまま覚えて使ってみましょう。

英単語は、とてもややこしいものです。受験勉強では英単語を暗記するのに苦労しました。クイズのような英単語が試験に出るので暗記、暗記の連続でした。受験勉強用の英単語は、クイズのようなものばかりですが、そんな英単語に限って日常会話で使われることはあまりないのではないでしょうか。

使える英語を目指したい時に句動詞をひとつ使ってみることも英語上達への近道です。句動詞とは、動詞と前置詞の組合せの動詞で基本的な動詞と多様な前置詞の組合せで沢山あります。

句動詞の良いところは、難しい英単語を使わなくても簡単な基本動詞と前置詞の組合せでシンプルに会話ができると言うところでしょうか。

make away with=steal    盗む　　　Thieves made afer with his money.

make for=to contribute     It made for great productivity.

make it up=pay back   埋め合わせする　To make it up to you, I buy a beer.

make out=manage, get along うまく行くHow are you making out?

make over=improve   作り直す、やり直すHe made over his image.

make up=compensate 補う、Make up the deficit.不足を補う

make way=make progress  前進する
